Solar Panels MeathSolar Panels Meath

The latest solar panel meath technology to hit the home is the humble solar panel. A solar PV system allows you to generate your own electricity, reducing your electricity bills and helping the environment. There are many different types of solar panels on the market including monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and hybrid models. Each type has its own pros and cons so speak with a specialist to decide which is best for your house.

Norway-based Statkraft has begun construction on Ireland’s largest solar farm at Ballymacarney, County Meath. The 200MW development will produce enough renewable energy to power 40,000 homes. It was awarded a contract under the Government’s first Renewable Energy Support Scheme.

Harnessing the Power of the Sun: A Comprehensive Guide to Solar Panels in Meath

Planning permission for the project was granted by Meath County Council in 2020. A full project brochure is available to view on the Council planning website here.

The development comprises solar arrays, MV power stations and client substation, 7 battery storage containers, earthen berms and screen planting including hedgerows and trees. An extensive environmental impact assessment (EIA) has been carried out for the project. This included landscape and visual, archaeology, ecology, hydrology, glare/dark sky assessment and more.

The EIA was commissioned by Meath County Council and was submitted in accordance with the EIA Guidelines.

Shop Front Design

Your shopfront is the face of your business and an opportunity to attract customers. However, it’s important to balance visual interest with the need to communicate key information. For example, if you display your logo on your windows and signage, make sure they look cohesive and match the color scheme of your overall branding. Otherwise, your store might seem disjointed and confuse shoppers. Check this out:https://www.shopfrontdesign.co.uk/

Many of the buildings in traditional shopping streets have a degree of symmetry and a shop front should reflect this. Occasionally internal planning makes exact symmetry impossible but it is often possible to create an effect through the use of intermediate columns or window mullions.

Balancing Aesthetics and Functionality: Tips for Effective Shop Front Design

The main fascia board should clearly denote the name of the shop and type of goods or services offered. Excessive advertising and excessive duplication should be avoided as this can obliterate the character of the building. The most effective fascia boards are generally modest in scale and preferably made from low-maintenance materials such as natural wood, fibre cement or aluminum.

The most effective shop fronts are designed with a view to the future and this includes accessibility. It is essential that your shop front offers clear access for those using wheelchairs or pushchairs. This includes entranceways and doorways but also means your shop front needs to be well positioned in the street so that passers-by can see it easily. The best positioning is usually close to the pedestrian crossing point and where the traffic lights are.
